Wells Bring Hope Reaches Fundraising Milestone to
Build Water Well with Rock Stars’ Holiday Help

The Mighty Goodfellas, a team of rock stars including drummer Kenny Aronoff and singer James Golding as well as entrepreneur philanthropists like Rob Angel (inventor of Pictionary), has reached its fundraising milestone with the release of their Holiday singles, “A Feel Good Christmas” and “Let’s Make Time”. The funds will provide clean water access in Niger. Wells Bring Hope will drill the well in the Spring of 2024.

Wells Bring Hope transforms lives by drilling deep-water wells, providing clean water to villages in Niger, the poorest country in the world. This reduces child mortality by 70+%; girls go to school and no longer have to walk 4-6 miles a day to get water, they are educated, marry and bear children later, reducing the chances of death in childbirth; women are trained to start their own small businesses, and gardens flourish, preventing starvation in times of famine.

The Mighty Goodfellas are more than 40 heart centered men and ‘heroes of art’ from all walks of life, with backgrounds in media, entertainment, technology, artistry, and leadership, who share a passion for personal growth, intellectual challenge, and social transformation. They came together in 2020 to create a ‘feel-good’ Christmas tune to share with the world - and to help bring clean water, in partnership with Wells Bring Hope, to Niger.

Members include James Golding (British recording artist), Kenny Aronoff (Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney, Jon Bon Jovi, John Fogerty, Sting), Marcus Miller (Jon Batiste, The Fugees, Madonna), Barry Goldstein (Grammy Award winning producer and composer), Chesney Hawkes (British singer-songwriter and #1 international hit selling artist), Scott Page (Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Toto), and Freddie Ravel (Earth, Wind & Fire, Santana), among others.
