About

In 2020, inspired by the vision of “Mighty” Paul Tu’ivai (1968 – 2021) (Nelly, Boyz 2 Men, Stevie Wonder and Diana Ross), a group of friends decided to create a "feel good" Christmas tune to share with the world - and to help bring clean water, in partnership with Wells Bring Hope, to the poorest country in Africa. This began the group’s journey, fundraising for the non-profit organization and inviting others to join them.

The Mighty Goodfellas are more than 40 men and ‘heroes of art’ and from all walks of life, with backgrounds in media, entertainment, technology, artistry, and leadership, who share a common bond: a passion for personal growth, intellectual challenge, and social transformation. This team, spanning several cities and countries, worked through the difficulties of our unique times to create this uplifting song and support Wells Bring Hope.

The Mighty Goodfellows is a rotating team of musicians that has featured James Golding (British recording artist), Kenny Aronoff (Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney, Jon Bon Jovi, John Fogerty, Sting), Marcus Miller (Jon Batiste, The Fugees, Madonna), Barry Goldstein (Grammy Award winning producer and composer), Tim Bran (Dreadzone and The Orb), Chesney Hawkes (British singer-songwriter and #1 international hit selling artist), Scott Page (Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Toto), Freddie Ravel (Earth, Wind & Fire, Santana), and Steve Harms (Los Angeles Opera and Disney’s Frozen).

In 2020, The Mighty Goodfellas released their debut single, “A Feel Good Christmas”, and supported Wells Bring Hope. In 2021, The Mighty Goodfellas endured the loss of Mighty Paul. That year, the song and fundraising effort were re-purposed to raise money for Mighty Paul’s family. In 2022, The Mighty Goodfellas returned with a new single, “Let’s Make Time”, and continue supporting Wells Bring Hope. Make sure to join the effort and the journey.
